Technician Permanent 40 per week (Hours will be 8:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday) £25,000 Leighton BuzzardMy client is looking for an experienced technician to join their team and become a Contact Lens Technician on a permanent basis. As a Contact Lens Technician you will be required to manufacture lenses to the highest standard. Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses. You will be working in a sterile, clinical setting with no natural light due to the nature of the manufacturing process. Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
- To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
- Report any issues or concerns to line manager.
- To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.
- To support the business across the Goods in to Goods out process (subject to training)
Technician Experience:
- Proven High level in attention to detail in previous roles
- Previous experience in a Picking/Packing Environment
Technician Personal Qualities:
- Education: GCSE English and Maths.
- Good Communication and Team Player
- Initiative and Motivation
- Relationship Building
