A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced Live-in Couple for their property in Bedfordshire, which spans 150 acres.
The role requires a Head Gardener and a Housekeeper/Cook, with responsibilities including housekeeping, family cooking, and gardening duties.
The couple should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and one must be a confident driver.
The position offers a salary between £70,000 and £75,000 gross combined, depending on experience.
Temporary accommodation will be provided until suitable local housing is found, with utility bills covered by the employer.

Live in Couple Job in Bedfordshire

A lovely returning Greycoat Lumleys client is looking for an experienced Live in Couple (Head Gardener & Housekeeper/Cook) for their beautiful property situated in 150 acres of the Bedfordshire countryside. They have 4 children (the youngest being 18 years old). They have 3 dogs.

Also employed is another Couple (Housekeeper & Estate Manager), a PA and a Junior Gardener.

Duties:

Housekeeping duties to include cleaning, laundry and ironing
Family Cooking (including occasional dinner parties).
Freezer filling
Keeping the fridges and freezers stocked and maintained
Shopping and running errands
Overseeing the junior gardener
Formal and informal gardening
Driving duties
Use of garden machinery
Security of the property
Dog care

Driving: At least one must be a confident driver

Accommodation: Temporary accommodation in The Annexe will be provided until suitable local accommodation is found. Utility bills will be covered by the employer. Pets would be considered. Permanent accommodation is due to be built on site.

Start Date - Flexible for the right couple

Working Week - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Hours: 8am - 6pm with a break

Salary - £70,000 - £75,000 gross combined, depending on experience
