We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to join a company based in Leighton Buzzard. Our client are one of the market leaders within their sector/industry, and they are recruiting for this position due to company expansion/growth.
For this role, ALL candidates MUST have prior experience of working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 - 14:00 on Fridays.
Duties:
- Operating cutting and bevelling machines.
- Operating centreless grinders.
- Handling wet belt linishers.
- Completing lathe operating duties.
- Working on varying batch sizes.
- Hitting deadlines and targets.
- Adhering to health and safety/compliance processes.
Skills Needed:
- Knowledge of using a variety of hand-tools.
- Ability to handle small components and products.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous background within a manufacturing or production environment.
