We are actively recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a Leighton Buzzard based company, who are one of the market leaders within their sector. For this role, candidates will ideally have valid FLT licences, including counterbalance and reach. This role will require ALL candidates to work within a chilled environment.

Hours: 07:30am- 16:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hour-week). Please note, there is NO flexibility on the working hours.

Location: Leighton Buzzard.

Duties:

  • Working within the goods-in department, handling all products received.
  • Allocating products within the warehouse, and coding accordingly.
  • Unloading and loading containers upon arrival, ready for dispatch.
  • Picking and products ready for dispatch.
  • Operating forklift trucks, including Counterbalance and Reach FLT.
  • Using warehouse management systems to keep database up to date and correct.
  • Supporting with stock takes when required.
  • Adhering to health & safety, compliance, and company processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, tidy and fully operational.
  • Completing and supporting with all general warehouse duties.

Skills Required:

  • 2 years previous warehouse experience is desirable.
  • Valid FLT licences.
  • Knowledge of picking and packing to order.
  • Ability to lift & load, therefore, physically fit.
  • Able to commute to Leighton Buzzard, and work full-time hours.
  • Confident in using computer based programmes.
  • Happy to work in cold environments.
