About the Company

An amazing opportunity to join a prestigious project building the first desalination plant in the UK. You will be working for a Tier 1 Contractor on the Sizewell C Project and be part of a global purchasing team with lots of experience with similar projects around the globe.

About the Role

For this role, you must live within a 1 hour drive of the Sizewell Site in Leiston. As the Site Procurement Contracts Manager you will play a vital role in various aspects of the infrastructure project. You will need to have experience working on similar projects and be familiar working with NEC contracts, experience working with Government Projects would be amazing!

Responsibilities

  • Setting up all subcontracts and local vendor purchase orders
  • Overseeing and managing all of the UK-related procurement
  • Following up and expediting the orders and agreements to ensure compliance
  • Sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and local vendors
  • Support on the issuance of Requests for Proposals
  • Issue Purchase Orders and Agreements after initial sign-off
  • Identify issues and potential red flags
  • Manage and control contract Bill of Quantities versions and updates
  • Be active in team procurement meetings

Experience


Proven experience in procurement for infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of UK Contractual Law and UK Construction Contracts. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to communicate globally.
