About the Role:
As the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the nursery's day-to-day activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children while supporting and working closely with the nursery team.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging professional development and teamwork among early years practitioners.

  • Ensure the highest standards of childcare, safeguarding, and health & safety are maintained at all times.

  • Assist with staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance support.

  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear communication and engagement.

  • Handle administrative duties, including policy implementation and reporting.


Requirements:


  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education.

  • Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.

  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, EYFS framework, and safeguarding policies.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
