We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Headcorn, seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to support daily operations, ensure the highest standards of care, and contribute to the continued success of the setting.
About the Role:
As the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the nursery's day-to-day activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children while supporting and working closely with the nursery team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, encouraging professional development and teamwork among early years practitioners.
Ensure the highest standards of childcare, safeguarding, and health & safety are maintained at all times.
Assist with staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance support.
Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
Handle administrative duties, including policy implementation and reporting.
Requirements:
Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education.
Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, EYFS framework, and safeguarding policies.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
