VisionFR are delighted to be acting on behalf of an award winning Agency who are now seeking a confident, lively, outgoing and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work and personal commitments.

As Accounts Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day financial operations at the company. As Accounts Assistant you will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support monthly reporting cycles.

Accounts Assistant Key responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, manage payments, and communicate with clients/vendors about outstanding balances.
  • General ledger maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate records for reporting cycles.
  • Bank reconciliations: Reconcile bank and Barclaycard statements, investigating discrepancies.
  • Expense management: Review and process employee expense reports.
  • Ad hoc financial support: Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.

Accounts Assistant Key Attributes Required:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar finance role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Proficient with accounting software, preferably Xero and WorkflowMax.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks.
  • AAT qualification beneficial
  • A finance degree advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
