PageGroup are delighted to support a highly reputable FMCG brand with a busy manufacturing site based in Leominster with the appointment of a Temporary HR Manager for circa 3-4 months. Possible scope for permanent in future.

Due to the nature of the sector, this role requires fully office based working.

Description

The role of HR Manager is a busy and generalist role, reporting to a Regional HR Lead, acting in a stand-alone capacity at this busy manufacturing site, supporting a Plant Manager with all People Matters.

This will include but not limited to:

  • Drive HR initiatives within the company, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition team to support with Recruitment and Retention on-site
  • Work alongside the L&D team to coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Resolve employee grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand their HR needs and devise effective solutions.
  • Generate HR reports for management decision-making.

Profile

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background in a similar role.

Ideally, but not essentially you will have exposure to the manufacturing sector.
