NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a prestigous engineering company located in SG6. Our client is a manufacturer of complex mechanical equipment within the Aerospace/Aviation sector.

Due to growth they are looking for a CNC Programmer/5 Axis Machinist with a strong background using Hypermill.

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:15pm

Position Type: Full-time

Overview: Our client are currently seeking a skilled a CNC Programmer/5 Axis Machinist to join their team. The successful candidate will be capable of setting and operating CNC milling machines as well as manual milling machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your machining expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set - Operate and program CNC, Manual equipment, To manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to achieve optimal performance and accuracy
  • Programming offline using Hypermill
  • Modify, repair tools, make fixtures
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that manufactured parts meet established standards and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with production planning to identify and address manufacturing and tooling requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a machinist/programmer preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in programming, setting and operating machining equipment, including mills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
