CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter, Operator
Contek are recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a team of engineers in a company based in Letchworth. This company have a variety of sectors that they service, and specialise in lower volume machining with more niche components.
This position is suitable for an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running and is able to program his own work from scratch.
Responsibilities;
- Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Mills using Heidenhain.
- Working to technical drawings to produce components to tight tolerances.
- Inspection of own components where necessary.
- Use of a Fanuc based Robodrill.
- Work from your own initiative or as a team where needed.
- Work at a fast pace to keep orders completed OTIF.
Experience required;
- Experience using Heidenhain and Fanuc (Minimum Heidenhain).
- Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation.
- Ability to program without supervision
- Ideally used a Fanuc based Robodrill but can be trained.
Hours of work; (37.5)
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 16:30
Overtime is available in this role and due to a stacked and growing order book, overtime is readily available.
