Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with a growing SME to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and dynamic team, where you can make a real impact.
The Role
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and contributing to the smooth running of the purchase ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately, ensuring correct coding and approvals
- Reconciling supplier statements to keep accounts up to date
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
- Preparing payment runs and managing supplier relationships
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed
About You:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive problem-solver with a positive approach
- Experience using Sage is desirable
