Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Interim Finance Change Manager to join their finance team.

This role is crucial in supporting the Finance Operations Director by leading strategic change initiatives across our finance operations.

The successful candidate will need to be ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with a proven track record in managing and implementing financial transformations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage key strategic change initiatives across the finance operations function, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Dive into the details of finance operations to understand current processes and systems. Be prepared to take a hands-on approach to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements within finance operations, including automation and optimization of current workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure the successful delivery of change initiatives.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, risk assessments, and status reports.
  • Provide support and guidance to the finance team during periods of change, ensuring that the team remains motivated and focused on delivering high-quality results.
  • Oversee financial reporting requirements during the transition period, ensuring accuracy (with a focus on data integrity) and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the business.
