My client design, manufacture & do installation of steel security products and are looking for an experienced Fettler. This is not a training role it is for an individual who has worked in fettling and lives near to Letchworth in Hertfordshire and has transport to get to and from work.

Pay Rate:

13.50 - 15.50 per hour DOE
PAYE rate
Weekly Pay
Performance-related bonuses available
This position is temp to perm, so after three months of successful work the role would become permanent. Ongoing work, immediate start, great worker benefits.

Skills Required

Shift & Job Details:

Monday to Friday
Start time: around 7:30 am, 40-hour week
Overtime available midweek and weekends at 1.5X pay rate
Temp to Permanent position
Working for a manufacturing, fabrication, and distributing business
Duties include grinding and finishing materials prior to paint finish, removing sharp edges using files, angle grinders, and orbital sanders
Mig Welding knowledge is desirable but not required

Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing production line
Experience working with thin gauge sheet metal
Experience grinding and finishing materials by hand
Ability to use, repair, and maintain machines and tools
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
Experience working with materials like aluminium, mild steel, or stainless steel
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
Mig Welding experience is desirable but not essential
