We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Project Manager to lead and oversee our luxury shopfitting projects from inception to completion.

Position Overview:
As a Production Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production and delivery of high-quality shopfitting projects for luxury retail spaces. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and production teams to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard. This role demands a blend of project management expertise, deep knowledge of production processes, and a passion for luxury retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee all phases of shopfitting projects, from initial design approval through production, delivery, and installation.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their vision is brought to life with precision and quality.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and manage internal teams, including designers, joiners, production staff, and on-site installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines are achieved.
  • Budget Control: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest quality standards. Monitor expenses and report on project financials.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all materials, craftsmanship, and finished products meet the luxury standards required by high-end retail clients.
  • Supplier Management: Work closely with suppliers to source premium materials and negotiate pricing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential risks and issues in the production process and proactively resolve them to keep projects on track.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients, detailing progress, timelines, and any necessary adjustments.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience within shopfitting, construction, or a related industry, preferably with luxury or high-end retail brands.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery, carpentry, and production processes within the shopfitting industry.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing complex projects, with excellent organisational, time-management, and budgeting skills.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to manage and exceed client expectations, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to foresee potential challenges and proactively resolve them to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Education: A relevant qualification in construction, project management, or related field is desirable but not essential.
