We are working with a reputable client based in Letchworth Garden City who require a
CNC Router Operator to join their team.
The position is a permanent role paying £13.50 - £14.00 per hour + Benefits.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Pension.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working within a manufacturing environment. The right candidate will also have good CNC operating experience working with Wood or MDF.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating Alpha Cam software on MDF - wood material
- Must assist with purchasing and estimating for sheet yields and run times
- Produce programming documents and drawings
- Required to verify parts / programmes for drawings
- Setting up CNC router to maximise output and quality
- Other general duties as and when required
Key Requirements:
- 2 years experience within a similar environment
- Must be PC literate
- Excellent attention to detail
