Job Title: Service Advisor
Location: Letchworth
Salary: 26,000 - 36,000 per year (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30, with alternate Saturdays, 08:00 to 12:30 (this may change to one in three).
About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor with proven automotive experience to join a well-established and growing business in Letchworth. If you have a passion for customer service and a background in the automotive industry, this is the perfect role for you! As a Service Advisor, you'll be the main point of contact between the customer and the workshop, ensuring that all service and repair requirements are met to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and handle incoming service enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Advise customers on recommended services, maintenance, and repairs, providing accurate estimates and timelines.
- Schedule appointments, ensuring an efficient and timely workflow in the workshop.
- Liaise with technicians to keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve any queries or concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, service history, and vehicle repairs.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition and on time.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A positive, proactive approach to work, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
Competitive salary ranging from 26,000 to 36,000 per year, based on experience.
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30 working hours, with alternate Saturdays (08:00 to 12:30).
