Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the learning and development of students with complex behaviours and needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver effective small group and one-to-one lessons.
  • Help students build self-belief and become effective learners.
  • Assist in delivering the GCSE English curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for their qualifications.
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each child, providing tailored support to enhance their academic and personal growth.
  • Engage actively with students to facilitate both their academic and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a special school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum.

  • Demonstrated patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to student support.
