A leading company in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Instrument Assembler to join its production team. AS a Instrument Assembler you will assemble high-quality vacuum instruments, inspecting completed products, and occasionally assisting with repairs.

Instrument Assembler responsibilities:

  • Assemble precision electro-mechanical instruments from pre-prepared kits.
  • Inspect and test completed products to ensure quality standards.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams for assembly.
  • Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Occasionally assist with product repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills & experience required:

  • Must have experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work for quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of scientific instrumentation.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
  • Basic understanding of vacuum engineering principles.

Additional Notes

  • Some manual lifting and assembly work required.
  • Own transport may be necessary due to the workplace location.
