A leading company in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Instrument Assembler to join its production team. AS a Instrument Assembler you will assemble high-quality vacuum instruments, inspecting completed products, and occasionally assisting with repairs.
Instrument Assembler responsibilities:
- Assemble precision electro-mechanical instruments from pre-prepared kits.
- Inspect and test completed products to ensure quality standards.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams for assembly.
- Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
- Occasionally assist with product repairs and troubleshooting.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills & experience required:
- Must have experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work for quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of scientific instrumentation.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
- Basic understanding of vacuum engineering principles.
Additional Notes
- Some manual lifting and assembly work required.
- Own transport may be necessary due to the workplace location.
