Private Client Solicitor - 5+ PQE

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join a prestigious and long-established law firm based in East Sussex. The Role:

As a key member of the Private Client team, you will handle a diverse and stimulating caseload, offering expert legal advice to a broad client base. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning and lifetime gifting.
  • Advising on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts.
  • Managing probate and estate administration, including Deeds of Variation.
  • Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Advising on tax implications related to estate and trust matters (knowledge of trust taxation is advantageous).
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
  • Experience or working knowledge of trust taxation is desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
  • Previous experience supervising junior team members would be advantageous.
