The Role:
As a key member of the Private Client team, you will handle a diverse and stimulating caseload, offering expert legal advice to a broad client base. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning and lifetime gifting.
- Advising on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts.
- Managing probate and estate administration, including Deeds of Variation.
- Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Advising on tax implications related to estate and trust matters (knowledge of trust taxation is advantageous).
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified Solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
- Strong technical knowledge of Wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
- Experience or working knowledge of trust taxation is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
- Previous experience supervising junior team members would be advantageous.
