Are you looking for an opportunity to work with more interesting and complex products? As part of a company of around 50 people, you’ll be part of a close-knit production team. They are responsible for the assembly and final test of countertop scientific products. The team enjoy the environment. Many have been there for years! But due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in someone new and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to develop there too.

You will be responsible for mechanical and electronic assembly work, using tools such as soldering irons and wire strippers. The products are varied and there is a huge product range, keeping the days varied and interesting. They will fly by!

The Role: Assembly Technician

  • Responsible for full product build including final inspection and testing upon completion.
  • Repairing products
  • Testing and calibration of the finished product.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Using hand and power tools.

The Candidate: Assembly Technician

  • You will have most of the following skills and experience:
  • Electro-mechanical assembly background;
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow circuit diagrams;
  • Previously used equipment includes multimeters, micrometers, and vernier gauges.
  • Dexterous: comfortable with intricate hand work.
  • Great communication skills.
