We are looking for an experienced Administrator with all round office admin experience to work within a busy department providing administration support as part of the Business Administration team who work with education departments.

Excellent Administrative skills and great communication and time management skills are essential for this temporary role which is for an immediate start and could lead to ongoing full time temporary work.

Job duties:

  • Phone cover, providing excellent customer service to calls from parents, schools and external professionals
  • Processing applications within statutory and internal deadlines whilst adhering to strict GDPR policies
  • Information gathering to ensure that all professionals are contacted to request their input as part of the application process
  • Processing and recording incoming annual review paperwork
  • Bundle preparation of received paperwork to be submitted to the Local Authorities
  • First port of call for parents/carers and other visitors/customers both in person and over the phone as well as via email correspondence

Skills & experience required:

  • Previous office administration experience
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks at once
  • Good IT literacy
  • Immediately available

The role is full time working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, initially office based but then moving to hybrid (2 days at home and 3 in the office) after initial few weeks of training. The hourly pay rate is 11.98 per hour.
