About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join our dynamic team at a local primary school in Lewes. The role is focused on supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them thrive in both academic and social environments. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support that meets each child's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with specific learning and developmental needs.
- Adapt learning materials to support individual learning styles and needs.
- Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
