We are seeking a skilled and proactive Estates Technician to join our dedicated Estates team for our client, a prestigious grammar school renowned for its academic excellence and high standards. This is a hands-on role that will provide essential support across the school's facilities, ensuring the grounds and buildings are maintained to the highest standards for staff, students, and visitors.

The client is an independent co-educational day school for ages three to eighteen years.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on school buildings, including general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the school grounds, including landscaping, gardening, and outdoor maintenance.
  • Assist with managing site security, including locking/unlocking of buildings and conducting regular site checks.
  • Respond to and resolve facilities-related issues raised by staff in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, carrying out risk assessments and maintaining relevant records.
  • Support the Estates Manager with routine checks, inspections, and other tasks as required.
