Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, UK-based organisation that is seeking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Duties:
  • Preparing and finalising management accounts with insightful commentary tailored for senior leadership.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring seamless month-end financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations, investigating variances, and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support monthly performance reviews, including identifying key variances.
  • Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to address financial concerns, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Monitoring and analysing key contract performance metrics using visual reporting tools such as dashboards and data graphs.
  • Assisting in the development of strategies to enhance profitability in coordination with operational and commercial managers.
  • Ensuring adherence to audit standards and financial regulations, supporting statutory compliance.
  • Aligning financial reporting with site operational models to enable effective cost control and workforce planning.
  • Gathering, interpreting, and structuring financial data to derive meaningful business insights
Who will I report to?

You will report directly to the Finance Manager

Ideal Experience:
  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, statutory regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in forecasting and stakeholder management.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex reconciliations.
