Print Finisher

Due to continued growth and diversity of products being offered, our client is looking to add a Print Finisher Operator to their team.

Experience of Cut/Crease, and Folder/Gluer is preferable.

Full training on the machines will be given to the successful candidate.

DUTIES :

• Set up, operate and maintain various print finishing equipment including:
  • Bograma Rotary Die Cutter
  • Guillotine
  • Burkle Punch
  • Moll Attach and Versa Fold machine
  • Plus any other equipment used as required
• Responsible for reading and understanding the work orders/job tickets to determine set up specifications and instructions
• Make manual adjustments to account for different fold and glue patterns based on job specs
• Load, observe and monitor machine operations, including glue system and other raw materials to ensure appropriate levels

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a good eye for quality and have the ability to scan semi produced products
• Routine standing, bending, lifting and good manual dexterity
• Able to get the most out of the machine and work to strict SLAs
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to work as part of a larger team
• Be able to solve problems, identify issues and report machine breakdowns
• Cleaning the machines and completing minor maintenance
• Have the ability to communicate deviations from the jobs specifications to management

Monday to Friday day shift .
