Due to continued growth and diversity of products being offered, our client is looking to add a Print Finisher Operator to their team.
Experience of Cut/Crease, and Folder/Gluer is preferable.
Full training on the machines will be given to the successful candidate.
DUTIES :
- Set up, operate and maintain various print finishing equipment including:
- Bograma Rotary Die Cutter
- Guillotine
- Burkle Punch
- Moll Attach and Versa Fold machine
- Plus any other equipment used as required
- Responsible for reading and understanding the work orders/job tickets to determine set up specifications and instructions
- Make manual adjustments to account for different fold and glue patterns based on job specs
- Load, observe and monitor machine operations, including glue system and other raw materials to ensure appropriate levels
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a good eye for quality and have the ability to scan semi produced products
- Routine standing, bending, lifting and good manual dexterity
- Able to get the most out of the machine and work to strict SLAs
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work as part of a larger team
- Be able to solve problems, identify issues and report machine breakdowns
- Cleaning the machines and completing minor maintenance
- Have the ability to communicate deviations from the jobs specifications to management
Monday to Friday day shift .
