After School Club Worker - Leyland

Excellent school in Leyland is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join their team

  • Monday to Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm working in After School club
  • Leyland
  • £14-£15 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Monday-Friday
  • Mainstream Primary
  • After school club
  • Immediate start

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an after school setting or similar, for example: Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse.

  • You will also need to create high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment and provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the Club, including those with special needs.
  • Be able to plan and deliver fun and engaging activities throughout the week.
  • Assist in helping pupils with their evening meal/snacks
  • Work alongside other after school staff
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and parents/carers
  • Safely chaperone pupils when being collected by parents/carers
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety guidance
