Our client, a small family-run business in Lichfield, is seeking an Accounts Supervisor with experience in bookkeeping and familiarity with Sage and Excel.
The role involves responsibilities such as invoicing, credit control, and preparing monthly financial reports, among other accounting tasks.
This part-time position offers flexibility with a workload of 25 to 30 hours a week.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Our client is a small family run business, based at Lichfield. They are very well established and highly reputable. They are looking to appoint an Accounts Supervisor to look after their accounts function and carry out the following responsibilities:

Invoicing / Sales LedgerCredit ControlPurchase ledger - Enter invoices/deal with queries/weekly payment runsAnswering calls / dealing with accounts queriesReconcile banksPost prepaymentsPrepare and file VAT ReturnsPrepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets when requestedAssist with year-end closing procedures and preparation for auditsAssisting with other admin work within the business as required

This is a part-time role and would suit someone ideally looking to work between 25 and 30 hours a week - our client is flexible. You should have ideally carried out a similar role and have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles along with good experience of using both Sage and Excel.
