Staffline are seeking an experienced Transport Team Manager to join our team in Lichfield.

This role involves overseeing transport operations, ensuring cost-effective planning, and maintaining high standards in health and safety. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with management experience in transport looking to contribute to a dynamic team.

Your Time at Work
The main responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of up to 100 drivers and administrators, ensuring cost-effective daily transport plans.
- Managing vehicle defects and repairs, maintaining thorough vehicle reports.
- Enforcing Health & Safety standards for all employees on shift, including RIVO checks.
- Monitoring TUPs, compliance, and completing general administration tasks in line with transport legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Handling disciplinaries, investigations, behavioural audits, and absence management.
- Engaging with customers, the team, and senior management to ensure smooth operations and high-standard reporting.

Our Perfect Worker
We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior management experience, ideally with a background in transport.
- Is organised, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicates effectively and can build strong working relationships at all levels within the Transport Team.
- Is comfortable with computers and can maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds a Transport Management CPC (national and international) - preferred but not essential.

- Working hours: Rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, 14:00-22:00)
