Electrical Maintenance Engineer - PLC, Automation, and Robot Experience

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Lichfield. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and repairing a variety of production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant facilities.
  • Diagnose mechanical and operational problems, implementing timely solutions.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Provide technical advice on equipment specifications and modifications.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables to minimise downtime.
  • Keep maintenance documentation up to date.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems
  • Experience with robots
  • Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
