Healthcare Assistant Needed in Lichfield

Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to join our clients award winning care home. This care home cares for the elderly and are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join their qualified team.

Healthcare Assistant vacancy details:

  • £11.50 per hour (Increasing in April 2025)
  • Full time contract.
  • Permanent position.
  • 3 shifts per week - minimum of 22 hours per week.
  • Day shifts available.
  • Shift times to be confirmed in interview. Potential for 12 hours or 7 hour shifts.

Healthcare Assistant Must Haves:

  • Experience working with a residential care home for at least 1 year.
  • NVQ Qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Must live near or in Lichfield.
  • To be able to work alternative weekends.

Healthcare Assistant main duties:

  • wash and dress residents.
  • serve meals and help to feed patients.
  • help people to move around.
  • make residents beds.
  • make residents feel comfortable and maintain dignity and respect.
  • monitor residents conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required).
  • No Sponsorship available.
