We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an engineering team here at Lichfield.

This site processes and distributes pre-packed, ready-to-eat fresh food and bowls to some of the UK's well-known retailers.

The business is more recognisable in the UK by its own brand of produce.

Our client is looking for a proactive multi-skilled Engineer to join a growing team of Engineers during a period of growth.

With plans to refit and update the factory, this role offers an opportunity for highly motivated Engineers to drive technological advancements and make a significant contribution to the team.

About the Job

As Maintenance, you will report directly to the site Maintenance manager and work closely with the production / technical team to ensure minimum downtime of production by carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.

You will take pride in the day-to-day running of our client's manufacturing lines, ensuring that all equipment runs smoothly.

You will undertake planned and reactive maintenance in line with production schedules and work with other departments to ensure production cycles stay on schedule.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to join a dedicated team of Engineering professionals

Qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (such as ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering).

A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from an FMCG environment, ideally in the food industry.
