As a Key Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a number of key existing National Account sand the relationships within.

You'll be managing relationships with businesses like; ASDA, Aldi, , Morrisons, etc. I'm keen to speak to Account Managers from FMCG, Food Production or Drinks sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager, Account Manager, Executive, Regional Account Manager or Commercial Manager experienced with national accounts in the retail or online sectors to join an expanding business and very quickly become a key player within the Commercial team.

THE ROLE:

  • Working with existing business clients to ensure that service levels are achieved and that strong relationships are built.
  • Presenting new products to potential new clients and established existing accounts in a confident and professional manner.
  • Responsible for account management, price negotiations, working with clients to understand their businesses and goals, ensuring clients accounts are maintained
  • Proactively grow sales through identifying opportunities and selling new products and ranges.
  • Responsibility for managing product cost prices to maximise contribution including the implementation of cost increases when required
  • Development and ongoing management of customer joint business plans where relevant, ensuring that these are aligned to business priorities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients and handling enquiries.
  • Supporting a continuous improvement culture across the organisation bringing examples of best practices and new ideas.
  • Delivery of Forecast customer Volume, Net Sales, and Margin for the for relevant Customers.
  • Continual evaluation of customer product mix to drive improved profitability incorporating initiatives such cost of product recommendations and domestic sales.
  • Effectively manage & resolve all customer pricing and terms queries directly with the customer to ensure a healthy balance sheet and minimise financial risk
  • Ensuring a level of forecast accuracy that supports delivery of excellent Customer Service Levels & stock targets and informs the businesses financial planning cycle.

THE PERSON:

  • The successful candidate will already be operating as National Account Manager with the following experiences & attributes
  • Experience within an account management role dealing with major Retailers
  • Background in FMCG, Food Production or Drinks sectors
  • Excellent IT Skills with the full MS Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential.
  • Able to work independently and be able to manage own time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A resilient highly driven individual who is career focused.
  • This opportunity would suit an experienced National Account Manager, Account Manager, Regional Account Manager or Commercial Manager experienced with national account in the retail or online sectors.

  • Days: Hybrid, max 1 day WFH per week
  • Salary: up to £47k p/a (depending on experience)
  • Bonuses: Up to £2k p/a performance bonus (£500 per quarter) and Car Allowance
