Description
- Financial Reporting & Oversight - Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements, manage cost and profitability, and oversee compliance with Group Accounting Policies.
- Controls & Governance - Implement and monitor financial controls, ensure compliance with audit recommendations and governance guidelines, and drive the Internal Controls Roadmap for 2025.
- Operational Finance Management - Own central costs, develop financial KPIs and reporting dashboards, and establish clear SLAs between finance and business functions.
- Stakeholder Leadership - Lead interactions with Group Finance, Tax, and Internal Audit; manage external audit relationships; and ensure effective coordination with key stakeholders.
- Senior Management Representation - Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, support board-level presentations, and provide strategic financial insights.
- Ad-hoc & CFO Support - Assist with special projects and deputise for the CFO when needed.
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with a strong professional background.
- Deep understanding of control frameworks, including COSO principles and risk assessment, with hands-on experience in implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Extensive practical knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/Local GAAP), taxation, and cost control strategies.
- Proven track record in financial control within a business of comparable scale and complexity.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse and present financial data effectively.
- Manufacturing industry expertise is essential, with a strong grasp of inventory valuation and control processes.
