Join Our Dynamic Team.Are you ready to take the reins of finance in a thriving manufacturing organisation? We're on the lookout for a Financial Controller who is not just a number cruncher but a visionary leader eager to drive financial transformation and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the financial health of our organisation while spearheading innovative finance initiatives. Your expertise will ensure our financial statements reflect true performance and position while enhancing controls and governance. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Stewardship:

  • Prepare and submit timely financial statements that tell the story of our success.
  • Monitor costs and profitability, directing focus to key areas in need of attention.
  • Manage financial accounting in compliance with Group Policies, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Governance and Controls:

  • Champion robust financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Document and embed effective financial processes that become second nature within the business.
  • Drive the Internal Controls Roadmap Development for 2025.

Operational Excellence:

  • Take ownership of central costs and headcount, tracking them with precision.
  • Create a transparent Financial Operating Performance KPI Dashboard that provides insights and builds credibility.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Act as the main liaison with Group Functions, fostering relationships that enhance coordination and efficiency.
  • Manage external audits, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Represent the finance function as part of the senior management leadership team.

Who You Are:

We are seeking a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with an impressive background in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment. Your ability to lead change and drive financial initiatives will be key.

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial practises, IFRS/Local GAAP, and taxation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analytic tools like Power BI is a plus.
  • A degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
  • A proven track record in managing complex financial environments.
