Senior Accountant | Retail scaleup

Talentedge are supporting a high growth retail scaleup on their appointment of a newly created Senior Accountant position, owing to domestic and international growth.

Key responsibilities to include:
- Own the entire month end close process for the US entity
- Support preparation of year-end financial statements
- Partner external consultants on tax filings (corporate income, property, sales, use, payroll)
- Continually seek ways to streamline and automate processes and controls
- Support FinOps team where required on transactional finance such as invoice processing, invoice raising and payment reviews
- Act as point of contact with external auditors
Profile:
- Retail / multi-site background
- Experience of working within a high-volume transaction-based environment
- NetSuite experience
- Experienced with building, testing & automating processes and controls
- CPA qualified ideal
