Red Recruitment 24:7 are working on behalf of our fantastic local client who are looking for anAccounts and OfficeAdministratorto join their team.


The successful candidate will be outgoing and an excellent communicator.The role is varied, rewarding, demanding, but fun at the same time!


This is a full time, permanent position.

Monday to Friday - 08.30-17.00

Salary: £32k - £35k DOE


Responsibilities:


  • Update sales and purchase ledgers
  • Raise sales invoices and process supplier invoices
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Assist with weekly payroll for 50+ employees on sage payroll
  • Enrole staff on the company pension scheme
  • Monthly sales commission calculations
  • Process petty cash transactions
  • Assist with raising purchase orders and matching delivery notes
  • Issuing order confirmations to suppliers
  • Stock & inventory control
  • General administration within the business

About you:


  • Minimum of 2 years accounts experience using Sage Line 50
  • Committed & hard working with accurate data inputting skills

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Able to manage your own workload and achieve important deadlines
  • Have strong IT skills proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
