Office Administrator required Cambridge


A leading Building Services contractor are looking for a Office Administrator to join their growing team in Cambridge. You will be required to provide support to the Pre-Construction function of the business including work winning, estimating & design. The right person will posses a high level of attention to detail and the ability to plan and work to deadlines. You will be required to work well as part of the team and as an individual.


The role is office based, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:00.


Duties:

  • Provide administration support to the Pre-Construction team. Duties may include preparing tender letters, compiling, and issuing packages to the supply chain for costing, taking meeting minutes, annotating design documents, report writing, printing documents, maintaining accurate records of information issued & received.
  • Compile information and respond to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
  • Create, alter and issuing bid presentations.
  • Create new project case studies and maintaining the case study library.
  • Assist in the organisation of corporate and team events.
  • Manage, maintain and update the project database (KMS) and generate reports utilising the system.
  • Assist department head with scheduling meetings with clients and the internal team.
  • Undertake sickness & holiday reporting for the department.


Skills:

  • The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
  • Be enthusiastic with good organisational and communication skills.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • The ability to work unsupervised but also as part of a team.
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving.
  • A good knowledge of all aspects of health and safety within the office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Have knowledge of or experience of a project data date base such as KMS
