Civil Project Manager Job - Permanent - Established Contractor based in Lincolnshire

Our high-profile client, operating in the utilities sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team. They have a strong pipeline of work and offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. This is a permanent position which will involve a mixture of office-based (Lincoln) and site-based work.Your new role

As Project Manager, you will be overseeing the successful delivery of schemes across the Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on multi-site projects
  • Conducting site visits and inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management
  • Ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site at all times
  • Collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring schemes are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will have:

  • Experience of delivering civil works from inception through to completion in the utilities industry
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Experience in procurement and post-contract management
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
