Hygiene Operative (Night shift) - Permanent Role Pay: £27,775 K a year (£13.22 per hour) + night shift premium of £2101 a year.Shifts: 4 on 4 off (6pm - 6 am)Location: SpaldingKey Responsibilities:- Carry out general and machinery cleaning tasks as per schedule and additional duties based on observations.- Dismantle and reassemble equipment in line with procedures and training.- Follow lock-off procedures and communicate effectively.- Identify and report any issues such as missing parts, damages, stock shortages, or inaccessible areas.- Ensure all documentation is completed and cleaning standards are met.- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, maintaining high hygiene standards.- Escalate any concerns and provide detailed handovers.- Complete periodical cleaning tasks within set timescales.- Make suggestions for process improvements and support their implementation.- Ensure the team completes all scheduled and periodical cleaning tasks.- Conduct stock checks and report required orders.- Audit cleaning processes and support investigations into incidents or accidents.- Step up in the absence of a Supervisor.- Train and on board new team members.- Coordinate handovers and maintain fire register records.- Complete necessary paperwork and hygiene swabs.- Support and advise in writing and improving cleaning procedures.- Contribute to improvements in health & safety, engineering, and production.What We're Looking For:- A team player who can also work independently when required.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.If you're looking for a stable night shift role with great pay and development opportunities, apply today!
