Ashley Kate Finance are proud to be partnering with an agricultural manufacturer in Lincolnshire who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with big plans for growth.

As Finance Manager you will have a strong background in Management Accounting coupled with excellent communication skills, an enquiring mindset and influencing skills. The ideal candidate would be a highly skilled and qualified professional with experience in leading a finance department ideally within a manufacturing setting. You will possess excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to support operational decision-making. This role requires a proactive individual with strong business acumen, capable of driving improvements in financial processes and systems while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and delivery of financial reports, including:
  • Monthly management accounts and analysis schedules
  • Statutory accounts
  • KPI reporting for supporting business processes
  • Lead the budgeting process, with forecasting
  • Analysing and interpreting financial information with modelling as required
  • Costings and margin analysis
  • Fixed asset management
  • Cashflow & Foreign exchange contract management
  • Risk management
  • Overhead review and management
  • Maintenance and challenge of key data (stock, bill of materials)
  • Providing support, advice and challenge to other departments.
  • Willingness to support other team members
  • Conducting research and analysis
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a small team

Qualifications, skills & experience:

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and solve accounting issues and trends effectively
  • Business system skills, with a strong ability to analyse data
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks in an efficient and productive manner
