Senior Associate Solicitor

As a Senior Associate you will play a pivotal role in the achievements of the departments objectives and goals. You will actively support the development and success of the client base and niche areas of practice.

The role

Responsible for due diligence and disclosure of transactional projects, including the supervision of more junior colleagues.

Provide support and assistance in a busy and developing department.

Conduct all matters in the clients best interests and in accordance with the highest professional standards and applicable quality standards at all times.

Deal with share and business acquisitions and sales, MBOs, rights issues, joint venture and shareholders agreements, restructuring, reorganisations, and corporate governance.

Deal with enquiries from potential clients, colleagues, and existing clients promptly to ensure that all business opportunities are dealt with professionally and to the satisfaction of the client or enquirer.

Achieve both individual and team targets and objectives, as agreed with the Department Head.

Have an ability to communicate, to work collegiately and independently and able to build relationships with clients and referrers, both internally and externally.

Requirements

Between 2 and 7 years Post Qualified Experience.

Excellent time and matter management skills.

Excellent drafting and communication skills are essential.

Ability to adopt a commercial, as well as a legal, approach to clients issues.
