Your new companyA successful and well established contractor is seeking an experienced H&S professional to join their team. With impressive builds and refurbishments across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, residential and retail this company is looking to appoint an experienced construction H&S Advisor due to company growth.A background in the construction industry is essential for this role.Your new roleYou will report directly to the Head of Group Health, Safety and Environment and your key duties and responsibilities will be primarily to drive H&S standards, strategies and procedures across the business, and a collaborative safety culture. You'll be supporting the project teams with guidance and the processes required to maximise H&S across their sites and provide regular updates of site issues to the EHS Team. You will support site management, assist in resolving any issues as well as attend meetings and audits.

  • Ensure company Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to

What you'll need to succeedYou'll have a strong background in driving the highest standards of H&S within a construction environment, and will ideally have experience of working for a main contractor. You must be able to build rapport with site project teams, so you must be a strong communicator, have excellent leadership skills and be successful at driving H&S strategies, policies and procedures across live sites.A background in the construction industry is essential.
