We are currently recruiting for an exciting HR management opportunity for a reputable organisation based in Lincoln.

HR Manager

Duration:   Permanent

Location:    Lincoln

Salary:       £30,000-£33,000 per annum

Hours:        37 hours per week

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, effective and pragmatic advice to Line Managers on the management of employee relations issues
  • Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
  • To oversee the induction of all new starters, including preparing New Starter Checklists, contracts and onboarding
  • Lead on maintaining accurate and up to date records of all employees’ details in electronic format, and ensuring that all HR records and databases are maintained, including the staff website page via SUMS
  • Assist the Director in the annual review and reformatting of Human Resource forms and processes.
  • To administer the monthly payroll, ensuring all data is submitted in a time efficient manner, and queries are resolved effectively
  • Lead on all recruitment and selection processes, including ensuring that Equal Opportunities is adhered to at all times
  • Support in developing wellbeing support for staff, including raising awareness of EAP and Occupational health resources
  • Lead on the creation of Team Member training passports, and lead on the planning and execution of Team Member inductions
  • To attend panel interviews as a HR representative and support the HR assistant and Office administrator in carrying out interviews as required

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience working within HR
  • Achieved, or working towards, a CIPD qualification (level 3 minimum)
  • Strong IT skills, including an advanced level use of Excel, and various Microsoft software
  • Experience of managing direct reports
  • Proven experience of implementing EDI
