Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an experienced and detailed orientated Payroll Manager to join a successful and rapidly growing company in Lincoln. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead payroll operations and contribute to the company's continued success.

The role of the Payroll Manager

  • Management of the Payroll Team, ensuring effective and accurate delivery of 2-weekly and monthly payroll, including reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations e.g. Tax/HMRC
  • Year End processes; ensure all year end processes are complete e.g. holiday, tax
  • Administration of the pension scheme
  • Contribute to research and recommendation for the annual Remuneration Committee/Pay Review process
  • Ensure effective communication with regards to pay across all sites
  • Produce regular or ad hoc data & reports as required or requested
  • Provide contingency cover for 2-weekly and salary payroll processes
  • Continuously evaluate and improve payroll systems and processes

The ideal candidate for the role of payroll Manager

  • Member of CIPP
  • Proven experience in a payroll function in a multi-site environment
  • Able to work autonomously to deadlines
  • Accurate & attentive to the detail
  • Experience of developing and implementing payroll software
  • Experience developing pay strategy
  • People management experience
