Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect or in a technical/solution delivery capacity for 3+ years

Detailed knowledge of business/technology ecosystems, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, DaaS, APIs, microservices, and cyber security practices to mitigate risks

Core Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Act as the authority on design and architecture, ensuring adherence to governance models and best practices.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop technology solutions aligned with strategic and operational needs.
  • Requirement Analysis & Evaluation: Assess existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and explore emerging technologies.
  • Systems Integration: Work with internal and external teams to unify disparate systems and applications.
  • Project Management: Lead solution implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Present technical solutions to non-technical audiences, manage differing perspectives, and advocate for the team.
  • Governance & Assurance: Develop and enforce architectural standards, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Decision-Making & Problem Solving: Make informed decisions, build consensus, and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training, mentor colleagues, and promote continuous learning.
  • Change & Continuous Improvement: Support change management frameworks and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in the out-of-hours rota for critical IT incident response.
