Position: Production Supervisor

Our client a global manufacturer are on the hunt for a Production Supervisor to join their ever growing team.
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will work as part of the performance management team to provide day to day planning, supervision of the production team spanning 60 employees across two different shifts.
Other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring shop-documentation and electronic information relating to all aspects of how product has been manufactured is accurate.
- Lead, direct and focus the efforts of the team whereby product is manufactured effectively and efficiently to meet the requirements of internal/external customer, whilst ensuring departmental and business targets are attained.
- Effectively drive H&S procedures throughout the business and introduce a culture to make sure employees know all regulations to abide by.
- Identifying Continuous Improvement activities that focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Performance.
Experience or Qualifications –
- Proven experience overseeing a production team and examples of how to supervise employees to gain successful results.
- NVQ in an engineering or manufacturing function
- Past examples on delivery on KPIs throughout the business
- Knowledge of Health and Safety systems
