We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity to join our Student Services Team as a Learning Support Assistant!
In this vital role, you will provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), working closely with the learning support team leader in various settings, including 1:1 classroom assistance, workshops, and other engaging learning environments.
You will collaborate with teaching and support staff to enhance the wellbeing of SEND learners, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere while upholding the highest standards of discipline, conduct, and behaviour. Your role will involve modeling best practices and fostering an engaging learning experience for all.
Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting learners during assessments and examinations, ensuring that appropriate accommodations are sought and meticulously applied in accordance with college and examination board policies.
