Home From Home Care are delighted to be recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to support our Fiskerton, Lincolnshire based care home.

About the Personal Support Worker Role
  • Promoting and encouraging independence, whilst assisting the individuals we support with their daily routines
  • Helping individuals to live their lives to the fullest, encouraging them to try new things, learn new life skills, connect with their communities, and live an ‘ordinary’ life.
  • Providing quality personal care, which could include bathing, toileting etc. depending on individual needs, while maintaining respect and sensitivity
  • Participating in household tasks, which include cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing etc. while encouraging the individuals we support to join in
  • One day, you’ll be teaching someone to cook, the next you’re bringing a surprise horse to a birthday party or arranging an inflatable pub (yes, this happened).
About You
We look for 5 key qualities in our Personal Support Workers – integrity, self-awareness, humility, passion and pro-activeness. You will need a keen drive to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support.

Previous experience in a care role isn't required if you’re a compassionate, ambitious and dedicated individual, the sky’s the limit with amazing careers opportunities.

Flexible Shift Working Patterns

  • Early shift - 7/8am to 2/3pm
  • Late shift - 2/3pm to 9/10pm
  • One 14 hour shift each week
  • Alternate weekends
  • 2 week rolling rota
  • Standby sleep ins

Please note that the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to Fiskerton, Lincolnshire and where required, our other locations within Lincolnshire. Mileage outside of your normal commute is paid at £0.40 per mile.

*The Loyalty Attendance Bonus assumes that you have no unplanned absences and have passed all probationary requirements. Every month where you have no unplanned absences your pay will increase by 1% up to a maximum of 6%.
